- Reachout – 100 elderly folks invited to our special day, a three course meal is served at table entertainment, a celebration cake & tea served, folks transported home. A great, fun day.
- Plants Out – Twice a year we deliver a plant to elderly house-bound folks to bring spring cheer !
- Xmas Parcels – Delivered to folks on their own for Xmas. We deliver on Xmas morning – great fun, and the odd glass of sherry !,
- Seniors Day Out – local elderly folks are taken for an afternoon out to enjoy the visit and cream tea. Transported there & back.
- Hobby Fair – local groups, schools, organisations, charities etc invited to have a stall & promote their group to encourage membership growth.
- Wreath Laying – Remembrance Sunday.
- Cream Tea Outings for the elderly.
- Wrap-Up – With Business Partner Paul Meakin collect warm winter coats which we then pass onto a Church in West croydon who supply coats to refugees. We also supply coats to Nightwatch for Croydon’s homeless.
- Mrs Burney’s Bee Club – we support the business and fund Places on the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award weekend where young folks are taught to work with the bees, take care of the bees and learn how to produce honey & wax items.
- Defib units – The funding & provision of the units across our areas of operation, with a budget for maintenance for all units.
